Blackberry Pie

Ingredients 4 cups fresh blackberries ¾ cup white sugar or more to taste, divided ½ cup all-purpose flour 1 (9 inch) double crust ready-to-use pie crust 2 tablespoons milk

Directions Collect ingredients. Heat the oven to 425°F (220°C).

Mix 3 1/2 cups blackberries, 1/2 cup sugar, and flour in a large bowl. Spoon mixture into unbaked pie crust. Spread 1/2 cup berries over sweetened berries.

Cover with top crust. Crimp and seal the edges, then cut steam vents in the top crust.

Brush milk over top crust and sprinkle 1/4 cup sugar.

Pre-heat oven and bake pie for 15 minutes. Reduce oven temperature to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C) and bake 20–25 minutes until filling is bubbling and crust is golden brown. On wire rack, cool.

Serve and enjoy!
